Last Updated: 12 February 2026 Effective Date: 12 February 2026
Imprint / Legal Notice (Mandatory under Swiss Law)
Operator: The Synergy Group AG (CHE-497.254.492), a company registered in the Swiss Commercial Register. Registered Office: Dorfstrasse 59, 8126 Zumikon, ZH, Switzerland. Contact: Email: andre@thesynergygroup.ch | Phone: +41 79 257 8028. Purpose: This website provides information and online coaching services.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://mindfulmoneycoaching.online (the “Service”) operated by The Synergy Group AG (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing, browsing, or using the Service (including purchasing coaching services), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with the updated date. For material changes, we may notify you via email or on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
1. Eligibility and Age
You represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are allowing minors to use the Service under your supervision, you confirm you have given consent and assume responsibility.
2. Use of the Service
The Service offers online coaching and related tools. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws (including Swiss law and laws in your jurisdiction). Prohibited uses include (but are not limited to):
- Violating any laws, infringing intellectual property, or transmitting viruses/malicious code.
- Harassing, abusing, or discriminating against others.
- Collecting personal data without authorization.
- Interfering with the Service’s security or operation.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate access, or remove content for any reason, including suspected violations.
2A. Scope of Services (Money Therapy & Money Coaching)
The Service provides non-clinical Money Therapy and Money Coaching services delivered by Ilana Jankowitz, Money Therapist and Certified Money & Mindset Coach (CMC), NLP Practitioner. Money Therapy is a coaching modality blending CMC methodology, NLP, and the Inside-Out Money Therapy Method. The work focuses on the emotional, behavioural, and relational patterns shaping your relationship with money.
What Money Therapy and Money Coaching ARE:
- A non-clinical coaching practice using money archetypes, NLP-informed reframing, inherited-pattern work, and felt-safety practices.
- Educational and reflective in nature, designed to support clients in rewriting inherited beliefs and making calm, confident money decisions.
- Conducted in person in Zurich, Switzerland, and online globally.
What Money Therapy and Money Coaching ARE NOT:
- Not psychotherapy or clinical therapy. Ilana is not a licensed psychotherapist or psychologist as those professions are regulated under the Swiss Federal Psychology Professions Act (PsyG) and the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). Independent psychotherapists in the Canton of Zurich require a cantonal practice permit; this work is provided outside that scope.
- Not mental-health treatment. No condition is diagnosed or treated. We do not work with acute crisis, untreated active addiction, or active mental-health conditions where a clinician has not cleared parallel coaching.
- Not financial advice. We do not advise on investments, securities, pensions, tax planning, or insurance products. For those needs, consult a FINMA-regulated financial adviser, tax adviser, or insurance professional.
- Not a diagnostic service. Money archetype assessments and quiz outputs are reflective tools — they do not constitute psychological assessment.
Referrals. If a client presents with symptoms requiring clinical care (depression, anxiety disorder, PTSD, addiction, eating disorder, abuse, or self-harm thoughts), we will refer to a licensed psychotherapist or appropriate emergency service and may recommend pausing or pacing the coaching engagement. If a client requires regulated financial advice, we will refer to a FINMA-regulated practitioner.
3. Coaching Services and Refund Policy
Coaching services are personalized and delivered digitally (e.g., via modules, sessions, calls, materials, or group interactions). Descriptions are for guidance; actual scope may vary based on individual needs.
Refund Policy (voluntary; no statutory withdrawal right applies under Swiss law for these digital/personalized services):
- Money Mindset Foundations: Full refund available, provided that (1) cancellation is received in writing within 2 weeks from the date of order, AND (2) the client has not yet started Module 2. If Module 2 has been started, no refund will be provided.
- Guided Group Coaching: Non-refundable. These are group sessions and are only initiated once a sufficient group has formed; no refunds are available once the program starts.
- Money Mindset Shift & VIP Money Mindset Coaching: Pro-rata refund available (based on modules not yet accessed), provided that (1) cancellation is received in writing within 2 weeks from the date of order, AND (2) the client has not yet started Module 2. If Module 2 has been started, no refund will be provided.
To request a refund or cancellation, contact us at andre@thesynergygroup.ch with your order details. Refunds (where applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time after approval. We do not offer refunds outside these conditions.
We disclaim any guarantee of specific outcomes (e.g., financial, emotional, or professional results). Coaching is not financial, medical, legal, or therapeutic advice. Consult qualified professionals for such needs.
For users in the EU/EEA: Local consumer laws may provide additional rights (e.g., a 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts). If applicable, contact us for clarification; Swiss law otherwise governs.
4. Accuracy of Information and Billing
We strive for accurate information but are not liable for errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Prices and availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse/cancel orders, limit quantities, or correct errors.
You must provide current, complete, and accurate account and payment information. Update promptly as needed.
5. Intellectual Property and User Content
All content on the Service (text, materials, designs) is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit it without written permission.
If you submit feedback, testimonials, or content (“User Content”), you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, edit, publish, and distribute it. You warrant it does not infringe third-party rights and is not unlawful/offensive. We may monitor/remove objectionable content but have no obligation to do so.
6. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites/tools (e.g., payment processors, WooCommerce). We provide them “as is” with no warranties or liability. Review their terms/privacy policies.
7. Personal Data
Your submission and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy [link to your updated Privacy Policy] and Cookie Policy [link to your updated Cookie Policy], compliant with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and applicable laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (including directors, officers, employees, affiliates) are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including lost profits/data) arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Liability is excluded for simple negligence but not for willful intent or gross negligence under Swiss law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow broad exclusions; in such cases, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of laws, or infringement of third-party rights.
10. Termination
These Terms remain effective until terminated. We may terminate your access immediately for violations without notice. You remain liable for obligations incurred prior to termination.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, internet outages).
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland (excluding conflict of laws rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods). Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Zurich, Switzerland.
13. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms (including referenced policies) constitute the full agreement, superseding prior understandings.
- Severability: Invalid provisions are severed; remaining terms remain enforceable.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign freely.
- Electronic Communications: Communications via email or the Service are valid and binding.
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.

This version is tailored, compliant with Swiss law (voluntary refund policy, clear terms to avoid misleading consumers), and ready for your site. Replace placeholder links with actual ones. For maximum protection—especially with international users or if programs qualify as “Fernunterricht” in neighboring jurisdictions (e.g., Germany)—consider a quick review by a Swiss lawyer. Let me know if you’d like adjustments!
15. Google Ads & Advertising
This website is operated by The Synergy Group AG and uses Google Ads to promote Mindful Money Coaching services. Our Google Ads activity is managed under The Synergy Group AG’s Google Ads Manager Account (MCC) 725-590-4694, which is linked to the Mindful Money Coaching client account 254-302-0056.
Campaign performance reporting, keyword planning, and limited human-confirmed campaign-management actions are performed using an internal tool called Synergy Automation, built on Python and the official Google Ads API client library. The tool runs solely inside The Synergy Group AG’s infrastructure and is used exclusively to manage advertising on our own accounts.
No personal user data from this website is shared with third parties through this tool beyond what Google Ads itself receives. All API tokens are stored encrypted at rest. Every campaign-mutating action is human-confirmed and logged. The tool displays the source MCC ID and the “Powered by Google Ads API” attribution on its dashboards and exported reports, in line with the Google Ads API Terms of Service.
For questions about our advertising practices, please contact andre@thesynergygroup.ch. For information about the operating company, see thesynergygroup.ch.
