If you run your own business – even if it is part-time – knowing exactly who you want to work with is pivotal to business growth. Why? Because it gives you 100% focus on the right things. Your marketing (from the website, to the newsletter, to the blogs) will all be written for the benefit of your ideal client. As you develop new services or products, you’ll have the ideal client in mind to test them on. When you are setting prices, you’ll know just what your ideal client values and is likely to pay for. Everything is shaped by knowing and loving your ideal client.
Let’s get creative!

By now you´ve got a good understanding of your money story and you´re ready to change your relationship with money in your personal life and (if you are an entrepreneur) your business life.

This is one of my favourite modules, as it’s all about manifesting what you´ve learnt in the previous modules. It’s time to ´Show me the Money!´

In the first exercise, I´d like you to do a bit of detective work. Start by looking for where to find sources of money and then make sure you know where your money’s going.  Remember it’s the small leaks that sink ships.

The next two exercises are for entrepreneurs. If you´re going to be successful, you need to know who your ideal client is while the ´Making Smart Money decisions´ workbook is a great tool to help entrepreneurs make good financial decisions

Mindfully yours, Ilana

Being financially responsible in your business requires all the same tools and disciplines you have learned in the previous modules of this course. That means looking at your business spending with the same objectivity as when you go shopping at the weekend. The difference is sometimes a matter of scale and also ‘opportunity cost’ (considering how else that money might be used to grow your business).
While this exercise has entrepreneurs in mind, don’t dismiss it if that isn’t how you want to live your life. These same questions apply just as well if you are contemplating a pair of Jimmy Choo’s or a new TV. Have these questions to hand for those impulse moments that come to us all. Ilana

In this first exercise, I ́d like you to do a bit of detective work. Start by looking for where to find sources of money and generating ideas for where to get an income and then, once you have, make sure you know where your money’s going. Some of the guidance in this worksheet is very practical but you’ll be amazed at how much of a difference it makes. Some of it seems to be more focussed on the entrepreneurs among you but don’t be tempted to skip it, even if you are not planning on running your own business. There are many ways to generate extra income around the edges of a job too – from network marketing businesses to car boot sales. Be open to abundance,
Ilana
