You're good with money on paper. It still doesn't feel good.
You earn well, you manage the numbers, you're the person other people come to for advice. And yet money sits heavy — the quiet over-checking, the tightness before a purchase that doesn't even matter, the sense that competence and calm never quite arrive together. Another budgeting app and another finance book haven't touched it, because information was never the missing piece.
Money Therapy with Ilana is the non-clinical, therapy-informed work that does reach it — a structured method for changing how you actually relate to money, so the skill you already have finally comes with ease.
What Money Therapy with Ilana actually is
One-to-one, non-clinical coaching with a Certified Money Coach (CMC) and NLP Practitioner. It is therapy-informed — it works on the beliefs and body-level patterns underneath your money decisions — but it is not psychotherapy and not regulated mental-health treatment. Structured sessions, real practice between them, measurable shifts — built for high-achieving women, online from Zurich and worldwide.
- A clear method, not generic advice. The Inside-Out Method works in sequence — name the pattern, surface the story underneath it, build new defaults — so change is structured and repeatable, not a lucky breakthrough.
- Works on the layer underneath. Inherited beliefs, body-felt responses, the loop between money decisions and self-worth — the layer budgeting apps and finance books never reach.
- Built for women who already achieve. This isn't get-out-of-debt help. It's for women who earn well and want the inner experience of money to finally match the outer numbers.
Who this work is for
Money Therapy with Ilana is the right fit if you recognise yourself in most of these:
- You earn well and are competent with money on paper, but it still feels heavy.
- You've read the books and tried the apps, and the feeling hasn't shifted.
- You sense the pattern is older than you — a parent's voice, an early scarcity moment, an unspoken rule.
- You want structured, therapy-informed coaching — not generic mindset content, and not a clinical diagnosis.
- You'd rather work one-to-one with a coach than sit in a generic group programme.
Money Therapy vs psychotherapy vs financial advice
Three different kinds of help. The right one depends on what's actually driving the difficulty.
| Money Therapy | Psychotherapy | Financial advice |
|---|---|---|
| Non-clinical, money-specific. Inherited beliefs, body-felt safety, and the loop between money decisions and self-worth. Coach-led and structured. | Clinical mental-health treatment for diagnosable anxiety, depression or trauma, delivered by a regulated psychologist (PsyG / LPsy / LPPsi). | Regulated advice on investments, pensions, tax and insurance, from a FINMA-licensed practitioner. |
| Best when the difficulty is money-shaped, recurring, and won't shift through new information alone. | Best when the difficulty is clinically severe or part of a wider mental-health picture. | Best when the question is "what should I actually do with this money?" |
Money Therapy is non-clinical and is not a substitute for psychotherapy or regulated financial advice. If you suspect a clinical anxiety disorder, please see a regulated psychotherapist — this work is complementary, not a replacement.
Money Therapy FAQ
The questions women most often ask before booking. Tap any question to open it.
What happens on the free discovery call?
Thirty minutes with Ilana, online via Google Meet. No script and no pressure — you describe where you are with money, she explains how the work would address it, and you both decide whether it's a fit. Nothing to prepare.
Is Money Therapy the same as psychotherapy?
No. Money Therapy is non-clinical, certified coaching. Ilana is a Certified Money Coach (CMC) and NLP Practitioner, not a regulated psychologist. If you have a diagnosed mental-health condition, this work can sit alongside clinical care but does not replace it.
What does it cost?
The discovery call is always free. If you decide to work together, paid programmes start at CHF 350. See programmes for detail.
Does Swiss health insurance (Krankenkasse) cover it?
No. Swiss health insurance only covers regulated psychotherapy delivered by a recognised practitioner. Money Therapy is private coaching and is paid out of pocket.
How is this different from a budgeting app or a finance book?
Apps and books deliver information — and information was never the missing piece for women who already manage money well. Money Therapy works on the patterns underneath the behaviour, with structure and accountability, so the change actually sticks.
Where do sessions take place?
Online via Google Meet, in English, from Zurich and worldwide. In-person sessions in Zurich are available on request.
